Cairo has been a source
of amazement to travelers for a thousand years. Discover
the warmth of small, everyday cafes, the pleasure of
strolling along narrow streets and the warm smiles of
the city's people. Then experience Giza, home to the
Great Pyramids and the Sphinx.
Our package includes 2 full
day tours with lunch in Cairo. The first day you'll
explore Giza and the Great Pyramids. In the afternoon,
visit new archeological digs at Memphis and Saqqara.
The next day you'll tour the Egyptian Museum; home to
Tutankhamon's treasures, the royal mummies housing 11
kings and queens, statues, ancient coins and papyrus,
and an unbelievable collection of jewels. After a traditional
Egyptian lunch, tour old Cairo. Visit the Citadel, mosque
and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. The bazaar is home to jewellery,
copper items, semi precious stones, rugs, blown glass
dishes and other souvenirs are bought and sold in the
shops along the narrow streets. It is a great place
to stroll, bargain and lose one's way.
