Continue your sightseeing! There is the impressive high tower and medieval fortifications of the former Papal Palace in Avignon that makes for a great afternoon trip.
Day 7. Aix-en-Provence - Nice
Take the drive to Nice, the unofficial capital of the Côte d’Azur. With an intoxicating mix of urban grit, old-world beauty, year-round sunshine and stunning seaside location, this is the perfect place to end your vacation.
Day 8. Nice
On your full-day tour of the French Riviera you’ll depart from your hotel and will travel by the coast road, enjoying the sea views of the famous Corniche road leading to Eze. You’ll stop to visit this beautiful medieval village, perched above the sea, with boutiques carved in the rock. Discover the world of senses and flowers through a shopping visit to a perfumery.
